Altar Society
The Altar Society of St Patrick Church is a service organization, which strives to give glory to Almighty God through prayer and service to our parish community.
The Altar Society
- financially provides aesthetics for the altar and sanctuary with the purchase and maintenance of altar linens, surplices, and cassocks.
- provides altar wine and bread, candles, and special prayer books for the celebration of Mass and other religious activities.
- strives to provide for the parish’s spiritual, educational, and social needs.
- contributes to the Parish Building Fund and community organizations including Catholic Social Services, Birthright, Pius X prom night, and St. Vincent de Paul.
- finances and helps with special receptions for RCIA, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.
- provides and serves meals following funeral Masses.
- organizes and supports the parish library and adoration chapel library for our parish.
- raises money through several fundraising activities including bake sales and donuts and coffee after Mass.
All women in the parish are members of the Altar Society. Dues are $10.00 per year. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the social hall.
OCIA
OCIA stands for the “Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.” It is for adults who desire to join the Catholic faith and for those seeking more information on the Catholic Church. This class meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm in the social hall. Classes begin in September.
You may feel called to join the class if you are:
- Not baptized and considering full initiation through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist
- Baptized in another Christian tradition and considering being received into the Catholic Church through Confirmation and Eucharist
- Baptized in the Catholic church and seeking to complete initiation through the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation
- Baptized Catholic and seeking adult Confirmation
CCD
CCD stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and refers to the Church’s program to educate children of the parish who are unable to attend Catholic Schools. These classes for kindergarten through eighth grade teach the basics of the Catholic faith and life of Christ. These classes can never take the place of the teaching of the faith by the parents.
CCD takes place on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:30 pm. Registration is at the end of August, with classes beginning in September and continuing through May. If you are interested in helping with the CCD program or have any questions, contact the pastor.
FCSLA

God Teens
Godparents/God Teens is our high school youth program which combines an education in the faith with opportunities for social activity. It involves students from both the public and private high schools of the same grade that meet together with their Godparent couple once a week, usually on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. For questions and information please contact the Godparent Coordinator.
Home & School Association
The Home-School Association works to facilitate active communication between our school administration, staff and parents. This allows for better coordination to help effectively educate our students, and helps to organize activities and fundraisers. All parents of our school children are members and are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings, which take place the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm.

Knights of Columbus Council 13576
St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus Council is Monsignor David R Hintz Council #13576.
The Knights of Columbus is an order of Catholic men dedicated to promoting charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. The fraternity works to spread the faith both among its members and throughout the world. It also includes a strong insurance program, service to the Church and community, and numerous other works of philanthropy.

St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international charitable organization with a local chapter here at St. Patrick. Members of this Catholic lay organization meet together to grow spiritually and to provide person to person service to the needy and suffering in our community. The group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 6:00 pm in the social hall.
